We are thrilled to be among the 30 tools highlighted in the ratings by People Powered, which compare and score platforms to help users find the best fit for their needs.
With the Citizen OS platform, users have the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse locations and time zones, enabling bottom-up, collective decision-making on matters that directly affect them. This recognition by People Powered underscores our dedication to fostering participatory democracy and empowering communities worldwide.
With the Citizen OS platform we offer a secure, free, and open-source participation platform. Our platform recently underwent a revamp, bringing along a range of improvements.
The People Powered ratings evaluate 30 comprehensive tools used to support digital participation globally. Ratings are conducted by an independent Technology Review Committee composed of six experts in participation technology, ensuring a balanced perspective in terms of gender and geography.

New features coming up this year
Over the coming months, we’ll be working hard to keep moving forwards—gradually rolling out new improvements thanks to further user research, usability testing and co-design. We’ll also be adding some widely requested new features, such as an ideation space for crowd-sourcing ideas.
