The event is organised by Viimsi Municipality and it will bring together participants from municipalities, non-profit organisations, and institutions from Estonia, Bulgaria, Spain, Ireland, Greece, Cyprus, France, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
Citizen OS will introduce ongoing and past democracy programmes and showcase its platform throughout the seminar. On the second day, the team will lead a hands-on workshop where participants can explore platform’s features for better online engagement.
“We look forward to demonstrating how the platform can be used to support more inclusive decision-making and strengthen collaboration between decision makers and citizens,” said Meelika Hirmo, Communications Lead at Citizen OS.
“We are also very eager to discussing all challenges and best practices in civic engagement to gather input how to further improve our participation tools,” she added.
The seminar will also feature sessions on Estonia’s e-governance and the importance of aligning people, processes, and technology for better civic participation.
